Introduction

To provide marketing coordination, administrative, and operational support to the Marketing Department while assisting in the execution of marketing, communication, customer engagement, and business support initiatives. The role coordinates departmental activities, campaigns, reporting, stakeholder engagements, events, and administrative processes to ensure the efficient delivery of the Bank's marketing objectives.

Job description

Marketing Coordination & Campaign Support

  • Support the implementation of the Bank's marketing and communication plans.
  • Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns across the Bank.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Track campaign progress and provide implementation updates.
  • Assist with product launches, promotions, exhibitions, activations, and corporate events.
  • Liaise with branches and business units regarding marketing support requirements.

2. Brand & Communications Support

  • Support the implementation of approved brand guidelines and standards.
  • Coordinate requests for branded material from internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining consistency of the Bank's corporate image across various channels.
  • Support internal communication initiatives and employee engagement campaigns.
  • Assist in reviewing marketing content before publication to ensure compliance with brand guidelines.

3. Marketing Administration & Departmental Support

  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative activities within the Marketing Department.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, project plans, action trackers, and departmental schedules.
  • Arrange meetings and stakeholder engagements for the department.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and track action items.
  • Maintain accurate filing and record management for all marketing documentation.
  • Manage departmental correspondence and communication.
  • Coordinate travel, logistics, venues, catering, and administrative arrangements for marketing activities.

4. Budget & Procurement Administration

  • Support budget administration and expenditure tracking.
  • Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice submissions.
  • Maintain records of supplier quotations, contracts, and procurement documentation.
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding and payment follow-ups.
  • Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and escalate variances where necessary.

5. Event, Sponsorship & Corporate Activities Support

  • Coordinate logistics for events, sponsorships, exhibitions, activations, and corporate initiatives.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and event organizers.
  • Support the implementation of Corporate Social Investment (CSI) activities.
  • Ensure event materials and branding requirements are available and delivered on time.
  • Compile post-event reports and lessons learned.

6. Reporting & Information Management

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for management.
  • Maintain departmental dashboards, trackers, and action logs.
  • Compile campaign status reports and management presentations.
  • Gather information from business units to support marketing reporting requirements.
  • Assist with data collection and consolidation for departmental projects.

7. Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to Marketing team members.
  • Liaise with Retail Banking, Business Banking, Operations, Human Capital, Finance, Procurement, and external service providers.
  • Respond to marketing-related queries and requests from internal customers.

  • Timely execution of assigned marketing initiatives.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of departmental reporting.
  • Effective management of departmental administration and documentation.
  • Timely processing of invoices and procurement documentation.
  • Successful coordination of events and marketing activities.
  • Compliance with approved budgets and procurement requirements.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction with marketing support services.
  • Timely closure of action items and project deliverables.

Minimum requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  •  Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Marketing, Administration, Communications, Customer Service, or a related environment.
  • Experience within banking, financial services, or a corporate environment will be an added advantage.
  • Experience coordinating projects, events, administrative processes, and stakeholder engagements.
